Gender X Clearly Combo - Clear

The Gender X Clearly Combo is a set of two clear toys: a large suction-cup dildo and a masturbator with an anus-shaped opening. Both are made from TPE, a soft material that gives and stretches. The dildo sticks to a surface so you can use it hands-free, and the masturbator has a narrow, ribbed channel inside. Gender X covers it with a five-year guarantee.

Who it suits and who it doesn't

It's a good buy for a couple who want a toy each: the dildo for penetration and the masturbator for the penis. If you fancy playing hands-free, the dildo's suction cup lets you fix it in place and do the moving yourself. And if you like to see what's going on, both are see-through: the dildo completely clear, and the masturbator with a frosted finish.

If you want an opaque or flesh-coloured toy, this set isn't for you: both are transparent.

How to use it and look after it

1. Stick the dildo to a surface by its suction-cup base and use it without holding it.
2. With the masturbator, enter through the anus-shaped opening and move along the ribbed channel at your own pace.

Compatibility

• Lube: Both toys are made from TPE and Gender X doesn't specify a lube, so, as a general rule with this material, a water-based one is the usual choice.

General tips

Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.

• Apply lube to the dildo and to the entrance before you start: penetration is more comfortable and the material causes less friction.
• The suction cup grips best on smooth, clean, dry surfaces such as tiles or glass; on rough or porous surfaces it won't hold well.
• Use water-based lube, inside the channel and on the penis: without lube, the friction is uncomfortable and the material wears out sooner.
• After use, rinse the channel with lukewarm water and let it dry completely, open to the air, before putting it away: moisture left inside encourages mould.
• Once it's dry, a little renewing powder for masturbators brings back its soft feel and stops it going sticky.
• Wash it before and after every use with lukewarm water and mild soap, or with a toy cleaner, and let it air-dry before putting it away.
• Keep it clean and dry, away from heat and sunlight, in a fabric pouch or its box and apart from other toys: some materials react when they touch and become stained or misshapen.
